Sunday, August 18, 2002People sometimes ask me why I love living in Milton Keynes so much. One of the many reasons is the proximity of the town to open countryside, and today, I decided to take advantage of just that fact. Throwing the camera into my rucksack, I hopped onto my mountain bike and cycled off into the middle of no-where.Peddling along this road, the first thing you see acoss the fields is this church, in the small village of Calverton. On travelling a little further, you get a wonderful view of the Buckinghamshire countryside. On the final leg of the 25 mile round journey, I paused by the river at Thornton, a place I used to fish when I was about 15 or so. I took other pics, but these give a fair impression of my little journey, some of the places I haven't visited since my late teens. I should do this more often. Labels: photos Steve 6:47 PM [+]
