Aha!One or two people may know that Brigitte and I are going to Cornwall for a few days in the near future, just for a few days to get away from it all and generally have a nose about. I'd been pondering taking the laptop and getting a cell phone capable of hooking up to it, so we could update our weblogs and stuff while down there. The price and availability of phones capable of doing that was proving prohibitive though, since we're on a tight budget... but I think I've found the solution.
cybersurf@newquay is an internet cafe based in one of the towns we'll be stopping in, so if I take the laptop and dump all of our photos onto a cd, we should be able to keep things nicely updated from there.
