Uh... wow!Not that they read this very often, if at all, but huge congratulations are in order for my sister and her... husband!!!
Talk about keeping things a secret... I'm as surprised as I am pleased. They did the Gretna Green thing, up in Scotland. I doubt many americans will know what that means, so, it's the place people go for a quick, secret wedding, with no hassles... just drag a couple of people in off the street as witnesses and do the thing.
She just phoned me from the hotel up there to tell me, and after I'd woken up (I was having a nap),enough to work out what she was telling me, I just burst out laughing. Not laughing at her/them, but in shear surprise and pleasure. It's about bloody time... they've been together for years and make a wonderful couple.
