My sister took me for a spin in her new car this weekend.She's got an MCC Smart Roadster.
It's small, and not particularly fast, but accelerates like stink, and the handling is awesome.
I was grinning like an idiot as she threw it around the local country lanes, taking liberties where a more conventional car would chew you up and spit you out.
But you know the best thing about it?
The noise.
When she puts her foot down, the engine (which is behind your head) literally roars, and when it changes gear, you can hear the turbo wastegate fluttering.
Being so close to the ground, it doesn't matter that you're only doing 60mph, coz it feels like 120.
I love it.
If I actually drove... that's the car I'd want.
In other news... I can't be too specific yet, but... it looks like my luck may be in, with a possible result on the dating site I mentioned a while back.
I'm rather excited, it has to be said.
