We went back to Milton Keynes today, for the first time in 4 months, to take presents to my family. This was a mixed bag of fortunes, which you'd understand if you knew my folks.Next we went into town to do some shopping.
I'm gobsmacked at how much the shopping centre has changed in such a short time. Shops that've been there for as long as I can remember have gone, with pointless crappy Christmas decoration stores in their place, other stores 'refurbished' with new fangled self service checkouts for your inconvenience. Woolworths has gone all 'modern' in it's layout, so now you can't find your way out of the store once you've got in there.
Yup... very different.
