![]() A panoramic shot of the historic town of Lewes, not a million miles from Brighton. This photo is two shots, spliced together using photoshop, the original shots having been taken from the top of the highest tower of Lewes Castle. I *really* hate heights, you know. Lewes was the centre of some kind of rebellion, shortly after the Norman invasion. It would have succeeded if the rebel forces hadn't been lured down off of the high ground and defeated by troops at the castle. (That's from memory... so don't rely on it to be overly accurate. I'm just too lazy to look it up and check.) Anyway... cool place, though parking is something of a pain. Photo taken with a Fuji Finepix 2800 camera.
