Looking towards the city centre at night, this is the view from the balcony of my old flat at Snowberry Close, in Milton Keynes.
The blue dome shaped building is the Exscape, indoor skiing, multi-screen cinema, etc, while the red neon pyramid next to it is The Point... a multi-screen cinema and leisure complex.
Predictably, with two such similar entertainment complexes in such close proximity, something had to give, and in this case, it was The Point. The place went into serious decline,
and the last I heard, they were going to demolish it, assuming they haven't already. It makes me sad to see the places I grew up around being knocked down.
