Photograph taken using a Fuji Finepix 2800 camera. The ruined norman church at 'Stanton Low' in Miton Keynes. Ask a great many people living in Milton Keynes where Stanton Low is, and they probably couldn't tell you... mainly because it doesn't exist any more. Once upon a time, there were three villages called Stanton High, Stanton Low, and Stantonbury... none of which remain. There is an estate nearby called Stantonbury, but this is not the original village, which was situated in the area near the top of what is now New Bradwell. This church (what's left of it), according to best estimates dates back to around 1175. The photo itself was taken around 2am in the middle of winter... in -2 degrees C temperatures. Brrrr.
