Non-Existant Puppies: I'll Make You Sick
This is the second in a series of videos documenting my musical progression from utterly rubbish, to somewhere around almost half decent. The video is simply a visualisation on Winamp, for which I claim no artistic credit. It's simply something to look at while listening to the music. Going by the band name "Non-Existant Puppies", this was recorded in 1988 and represents the best effort by a bunch of teens who could neither play nor sing, but were having a lot of fun making quite a racket. This song includes one of the best/worst lines ever, "...and I don't care. You're a Toblerone in my nightmare!" I don't know where you are these days Andy, but back then, you were wonderfully insane. No clever recording equipment was used. We simply placed our amps around a cheap mono tape recorder at the appropriate distances to get the right volumes, while the "singer" screamed as loud as he could. Musical influences were a few local (Milton Keynes) alternative bands - Claire, The Sally Harper Project and Despair, and the infamous Manchester band - The Fall.
