Music By Benway
This is the 23rd in a series of music videos documenting my musical progression from utterly rubbish, to somewhere around almost half decent.
The video is simply a visualisation on Winamp, for which I claim no artistic credit. It's simply something to look at while listening to the music.
Going by the band name "Benway", this was recorded in 1999 using a Roland MC303.
I largely like this one, finding the main synth line, and that flute bit towards the end, a lot of fun. I do find the bassline pretty weak though, and that vocal sample was a real mistake.
The main influence for this was the Chemical Brothers, with a bit of Front 242 thrown in for good measure. I was listening to "Exit Planet Dust" and a fair bit of "Up Evil" almost continually around this time.
